March 2nd, 2021Hi there!
You’re looking at an interactive scenario from Clinical Sense (one of four distinct learning formats available in Clinical Odyssey). Try it out, and have fun improving your clinical skills.
It is already Sunday night, and you sigh as you realize that your "free" weekend is almost over.
As a consolation, you decide to treat yourself to a pizza and a glass of wine at Moretti's, which lies just around the corner.
As you enter the cozy Italian pizzeria, the owner, Mrs. Moretti (who is in her early forties) welcomes you with a smile.
The pizza, as usual, is delicious.
As you pay the check and prepare to leave, Mrs. Moretti lingers by your table for a moment.
"I really didn't want to trouble you doctor, but I've been having some problems recently ...."
She states that she has been experiencing mild abdominal pain and nausea "every now and then", for a couple of months, and was wondering if it might be 'gastritis'.
You ask her to meet you at your clinic next week.
